SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

Dear Sunrise Families!

Our Scholastic book fair was such a huge success! Our school's scholastic dollars balance is now at pre-pandemic levels! In fact, this book fair has been our most profitable book fair in all of Sunrise Drive Elementary's history! We moved the fair back indoors, thanks to Ms. Davidson's approval and valued support. The week-long celebration seemed like a 'party' to some of our youngest students, and the Family Picnic and Play had one of the most successful attendances.

Using the profits from the book fair sales, we were able to purchase numerous books for each teacher, and we were able to purchase a healthy stack of books for our wonderful library and CARE Program!

Additionally, the profits from our book fairs help purchase Scholastic newspapers and other educational materials that our students use throughout the school year. Our 'Principal Picks' and 'Teacher Recommendation' featured books were a hit, and most of these sold out!

Lori and I would like to take the time to give a big THANK YOU to all of you who helped make this book fair a memorable and successful one! Thank you to all of the students, families, teachers, staff, and volunteers who shopped the fair, attended the family evening event, and helped run the fair. Your presence and service are invaluable, and our book fairs are only possible because of you!

We look forward to seeing you at our next fair in the Spring!

Sincerely,

Kristin and Lori

BOXTOPS

Do you remember cutting boxtops out?

Well, things have changed. We are staying with the times and we need your help and support!

Follow these simple steps for Sunrise Box Tops:

Step 1) Download app

Step 2) Setup Profile

Step 3) Add Sunrise Drive Elementary in Tucson as your school to donate to.

Step 4) Shop & scan your receipts! Any eligible products will accumulate box top cash for Sunrise!

Note: Any physical box tops that you find on a box can still be clipped and sent to school, but most products no longer are printing the Box Top icon since the program has moved to the app system.

Instacart or online shopper? No problem! Just screenshot your digital receipt, go to “Contact Us” on app, and select “Submit Digital Receipt.” Then upload the screenshot(s) of your receipt.

Some of my favorite brands that earn $ for Sunrise:

PaperMate office & school supplies, Annie’s, Yoplait, Oui, Airborne, Betty Crocker, Old El Paso, Progresso, General Mills cereals, & Lysol.

Earn Bonus Box Tops at Costco, Walmart, Target & Dollar General - check app weekly to cash in!

Thanks so much!
