Thank you super Sunrise supporters!

We do have more good news. We found a vendor that would customize water bottles with our Blue Ribbon logo and your child’s name! We’re doing limited quantities at $20 per bottle. This bottle is 22oz. double walled, with 3 different lids and fits in a cup holder! If you’d like one, make your purchase HERE.

We also have Blue Ribbon short sleeves and limited sizes of long sleeves and V-necks left. Use the same link to order if you’d like one.

Did you know that we are 1 in 4 schools in Arizona that was awarded the National Blue Ribbon Award? It recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. We have over 2000 public schools in AZ, not including private & charter schools. It is a coveted award and it's AWESOME that we won it! IT'S GOOD TO BE AT SUNRISE!!!

Mathathon Thank You

The final results are in for the Mathathon. We had an incredible record year...raising $34,733!!!

Truly amazing!!!

A big heartfelt THANK YOU to all Sunrise families and friends who made pledges to support our school’s FFO. This money will be an enormous help toward funding class field trips, the community garden and many more campus programs.

Top classrooms are as follows:

Highest Participation - Ms. Mulay’s Kindergarten class with 100% participation. They will receive FREE EEGEE certificates.

Most Money Raised: Ms. Nies’ third grade class who raised $3,368. They will receive FREE EEGEE certificates plus $100 to spend as the teacher and class choose.

Highest Average Score - First graders received this honor. They will receive a fun recess filled with special activities.

Celebration Time - Last, but not least, because Sunrise families and friends have raised over $27,000, the entire student body will get to celebrate with a week full of fun PE games and a “crazy dress-up and hair day.”

We have an amazing supportive school community!
