President's Intro

The 2018-19 school year has been a blast! In this digest, we send our gratitude to you — the parents, grandparents, faculty and loved ones that make up our awesome school community.

Below, you’ll find so many instances of how your FFO contributions have generously supported students and staff throughout this school year and beyond, starting with letters of appreciation directly from Sunrise students to YOU. Ms. Glenn’s 2nd grade class wrote THE BEST letters to the FFO thanking us for Scholastic book and bookmark donations (made possible by your support of the Book Fair). Here are three letters that capture the students’ genuine excitement for their new books and love of reading!

Letters from 2nd Graders James Jacobsen, Abbie Brady, and Paige Richner. Thank you to their parents for allowing us to share their letters.

Have a wonderful summer! We look forward to seeing you August 7, 2019 for Meet Your Teacher!

— Dayna Anderson, FFO President

MySchoolAnywhere Is Becoming Membership Toolkit!

MySchoolAnywhere has been purchased by Membership Toolkit. Over the summer, we will be working with the MembershipToolkit team to transition our site over to their platform. Membership Toolkit's platform hosts websites for FFOs and other non-profit organizations. We will still have the features like the store, online directory, event signups, and mobile app. Stay tuned for more details, which should be announced before Meet Your Teacher and the new school year begins.

Spirit of Sunrise

The FFO sends a heartfelt THANK YOU to Sunrise families for supporting our school! The Spirit of Sunrise campaign and Mathathon raised $37,000 during the 2018-2019 school year. This money funded student field trips, Science Day, Artists-in-Residence, Community Garden, 5th Grade Legacy Project, Lego robotics kits, Raz Kids, Reflex Math, playground equipment, Spiders and Cider, and so much more.

Sunrise Drive FFO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the FFO budget comes directly from donations. If you are interested in helping us finish the year strong, visit our store and select "Spirit of Sunrise Donation" to make your tax-deductible donation now:
