| Welcome back! The Family Faculty Organization publishes the Digest about once a month during the school year to help keep our school community informed of FFO-sponsored efforts. The start of the school year feels different, but the FFO is planning to provide the same strong support for the school and faculty as it has in past years!
I want to highlight one way your FFO donation directly impacts student learning and that's through programs like Reflex Math. This fun and adaptive app helps students with math fact fluency and teachers report that our kiddos love it. The school's annual subscription to Reflex Math is up for renewal soon and we need your support to continue programs like these.
We know that you've been busy setting up learning environments at home and preparing for a unique school experience. We get it -- it's been rough and time is short! We hope that you'll remember to make your donation to the FFO when you have a moment -- see details below.

| Thank you to all the families who donated to the Spirit of Sunrise! Our goal is 100% family participation. The suggested donation is $50 per student, but any amount is appreciated.
There are many ways to donate: 1) in the FFO store in Membership Toolkit, 2) via PayPal, or 3) by check payable to“Sunrise Drive FFO†(contact the school to make arrangements for drop-off to the FFO lock box in the Sunrise Office).

- CurbSmart: After School Student Release, Technology Fund, $1,800
- Fun fact: this app provides for safer dismissal for bus riders and parent pick-ups. When school is back in session, it will aid in keeping students physically distanced and facilitate staff communication during release. YAY!

| Spirit of Sunrise donations got us off to a good start - but we've got some catching up to do! The entire FFO budget comes from our school’s families’ direct donations, so we need your help.
The FFO's bank account balance as of August 14, 2020 was $9,571.26. The FFO is gearing up to pay for several large expenditures, including Reflex Math and bulk cleaning supplies to help teachers and faculty stay safe when on campus.
